The realignment of the Peninsular Developmental Road (PDR) at Musgrave involved construction of a new, 92m long, prestressed concrete bridge over Saltwater Creek, as well as construction of n ew intersections at Strathgordon and Violet Vale Roads.
FNQ Civil were engaged by Roadtek to construct the realigned road embankments, bridge abutments, sealed pavements, and drainage culverts.
FNQ Civil delivered the works with excellent efficiency and to a high standard in challenging conditions, and were subsequently awarded significant additional works, delivering the prestressed concrete bridge deck units to site from almost 1500km away in Rockhampton.
